Kathwren Jenkins says: “A Tree For Two is also based on a photograph I took whilst living in Florida I photographed these two Scarlet Macaws setting in a tree. They were posed perfectly for a painting. I took several photos of them and came back to the studio and decided to add the Magnolias. They grow in abundance in the south. I thought the large White flowers added a lot to the composition.”
